2Bridge Partners is conducting a confidential search for a Senior Director, Product with an established financial technology organization.

We seek an accomplished product leader with deep technical expertise, a sophisticated understanding of institutional financial services, and substantive experience in blockchain and decentralized finance (DeFi).

The opportunity

This is a highly visible role focused on bridging traditional financial systems and emerging decentralized technologies. The successful candidate will engage senior institutional stakeholders, influence product strategy, and work closely with engineering and commercial teams to translate complex financial and technical challenges into commercially viable solutions.

The position requires someone who understands not only the potential of blockchain and DeFi, but also the regulatory, operational, and commercial obstacles that have constrained institutional adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Shape product strategy and priorities based on institutional customer needs, technical capabilities, and commercial opportunities.
• Engage senior stakeholders across banking, trading, capital markets, and financial services to understand business requirements and adoption challenges.
• Partner with engineering and architecture teams to evaluate technical solutions, guide product decisions, and resolve complex dependencies.
• Apply deep knowledge of blockchain and DeFi to identify opportunities for institutional adoption and address practical implementation barriers.
• Evaluate considerations involving privacy, information access, interoperability, regulatory requirements, and integration with existing financial systems.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives that balance customer priorities, technical feasibility, and long-term product objectives.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience spanning software engineering, architecture, technical product management, or enterprise technology leadership.
• Proven track record delivering complex enterprise software products, ideally within institutional financial technology.
• Deep understanding of banking, institutional trading, capital markets, or related financial infrastructure.
• Strong technical foundation, preferably including hands-on software engineering or systems architecture experience.
• Substantive blockchain and DeFi experience, with a strong understanding of both infrastructure and application-layer technologies.
• Informed perspective on the technical, regulatory, and commercial barriers to institutional adoption of decentralized finance.
• Ability to translate complex institutional requirements into product strategy and actionable technical priorities.
• Executive presence, commercial judgment, and the ability to influence senior financial services stakeholders and engineering leadership.

Location & Compensation

NYC, London, Zurich

Compensation: USD $225K–$275K | GBP £170K–£207K | CHF 180K–220K

Benefits will depend on the country of residency.

This role is hybrid, 2 days a week in the office, with potential for international travel.
