Compensation

A competitive compensation package will be tailored to the successful candidate`s experience, technical expertise, and overall fit. Candidates can generally expect compensation to align with CHF 150,000–180,000, although these figures should be viewed as market guidance rather than fixed limits. Additional flexibility may be available for exceptional candidates whose experience and impact warrant consideration beyond the anticipated range.

The Opportunity

Distributed ledger technology is moving beyond experimentation into production-scale enterprise adoption.

Our client is developing a sophisticated distributed ledger platform that enables financial institutions and enterprise organizations to securely exchange information, automate complex business processes, and build trusted multi-party applications across regulated environments.

This is not a consumer blockchain product, nor is it a traditional SaaS application.

It is a foundational platform technology where performance, resilience, security, privacy, and operational integrity are essential.

As a Technical Product Manager, you`ll partner with world-class engineers, distributed systems specialists, and technical architects to define product strategy, shape the platform roadmap, and deliver capabilities that solve some of the most complex challenges in enterprise software.

Whether your background is rooted in blockchain or you`ve spent your career delivering enterprise infrastructure, databases, middleware, or other mission-critical platforms, this role offers the opportunity to work on technology at the forefront of modern financial infrastructure.

What You`ll Do

• Define and own the product strategy and roadmap for core distributed ledger platform capabilities.

• Partner closely with engineering, architecture, and technical leadership.

• Balance customer needs, engineering investment, and long-term platform strategy.

• Gather and prioritize requirements from enterprise customers, partners, developers, and technical stakeholders.

• Own backlog management, release planning, prioritization, and execution.

• Improve platform usability and developer experience.

• Produce product requirements, technical documentation, and release communications.

• Drive capabilities focused on scalability, resilience, security, interoperability, and enterprise deployment.

• Influence the long-term evolution of the platform.

Required Experience

• 5+ years of Product Management delivering technically sophisticated software products.

• Experience shipping enterprise software deployed into customer environments rather than exclusively cloud-native SaaS applications.

• Strong technical aptitude and credibility with engineers and architects. You’ve likely been a software engineer and may still “code” outside of your day job.

• Experience managing complex technical roadmaps.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work within the hybrid Zurich-based work model.

Preferred Experience

Candidates may have experience with distributed ledgers, blockchain, enterprise infrastructure, distributed systems, databases, middleware, APIs, developer tooling, financial technology, or other mission-critical enterprise platforms. Financial services experience is advantageous but not required.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate enjoys solving difficult technical problems alongside exceptional engineers. They are comfortable discussing system architecture, distributed computing, APIs, infrastructure, and platform design with deeply technical teams, and are motivated by building foundational technology for enterprise customers.
