Global Software Firms seeks a Sr IT PM experienced with Network Infrastructure projects.
Experience managing network or systems upgrades, telecom projects, and/or connectivity would be ideal. A strong background with Agile methodology is preferred.
This is a permanent, direct hire opportunity. Salary is targeted in the 100-120k +/- base range, + bonus + equity + excellent benefits. Hybrid schedule with potential to be remote.
The Sr IT PM will connect clients and customers by automating business process, providing information for decision making, and providing productivity tools to increase efficiency. This includes the information technology infrastructure and architecture functions, as well as, global information privacy and security.
This position will work with Engineers and Management to define work streams, document scope, identify and track tasks and report status to stakeholders. They will operate in a non-PMO environment and have freedom to drive their projects to completion without onerous process constraints. This means that the ideal candidate will value and promote an environment of focused delivery without introducing administrative overhead. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are required, as well as a working knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking and unified communications technologies.
Responsibilities
- Developing and managing technology projects including cost, time and scope
- Project planning, communication planning, task allocation and milestone setting
- Create project and resource allocation plans to ensure projects and resources align
- Develop project schedules allowing for management and reporting of project status
- Incorporate Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies into network and unified communications project delivery
- Influence, mentor, and motivate project members without managerial authority to deliver projects on schedule
- Communicate project status to team members and stakeholders in a clear, effective, and timely manner
- Lead risk assessments, document and manage mitigation strategies and triggers
- Lead issue identification and resolution process
- Align project objectives with company goals and ensure the Project Team is clear on objectives
- Work with management to align priority and delivery expectations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience working with engineering teams to deliver projects requiring coordination between multiple teams across a range of functional groups
- Experience facilitating executive level status meetings and reporting
- Experience working with IT infrastructure, networking and unified communications teams
- Experience working autonomously and managing multiple projects at once
- Experience working with project tracking tools (e.g.; JIRA)
- Experience working on Agile teams
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
