Overview

Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join their team. They are building out next-generation marketing-technology applications and services. They are passionate about engineering excellence, collaboration, and innovation. Their core tech stack is in the MSFT .Net ecosystem, including Azure, Terraform, Docker, and K8S.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, and implement high-performance systems using C#, .NET, and Microsoft Azure.
  • Lead the development of complex features and modules.
  • Work with product management to define software requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement in software engineering practices.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in relevant technologies.
  • Drive best practices and engineering excellence.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and contribute to technical training and development initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience with a proven track record in leading software development projects using C#, .NET, and Microsoft Azure.
  • Proven experience in leading software development projects.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Expertise in SQL databases and RESTful APIs.
  • Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
  • Experience in architectural patterns and cloud computing.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

Location

  • This role is Hybrid (if you live in the Metro Detroit area), or there is the potential for remote.
